Tesla sold 500,000 electric vehicles in 2020. That's 20% of the vehicles GM sold. The Biden administration has plans to spend $1 trillion on electric vehicles and infrastructure. Even if that is off by a lot, it is still a huge demand signal. Paraphrasing Bill Gates, we'll likely to overestimate the adoption of electric vehicles in the next year, and underestimate adoption in the next ten years.
